Alex began dancing in her home town of Odessa, Texas where she was a member of the OHS Showgirls dance team.  After graduating from Odessa High School in 2009, Alex moved to Denton to further her studies at Texas Woman’s University.

Alex continues to train in ballet and modern at Texas Women’s University where she is also a member of the International Dance Company.  She plans to graduate with a BA in dance and a minor in business marketing.

Alex has trained under outstanding professors and choreographers such as Dave Scott, B-boy Legacy, Ava Bernstein, Kylie Hanagami, Cedric Gardner, Chuch Maldonado, and Darrin Henson to name a few.  She is proud to have worked under and assisted Keith Green, Comfort Fedoke, Cedric Gardner and Seth Stewart.   Alex continues her dance education by regularly taken classes at Debbie Allen Dance Academy in Los Angeles, California and SoundBox Studios in Houston, Texas.

Currently Alex is a second year member of CholoRock Dance Company created by Jose Zamora and has started her own all girls’ hip-hop crew “Wrkn’ Progress” and former member of Elite Dance Company in San Antonio, Texas.

Alex’s choreography has been showcased throughout Texas on dance teams at Odessa High School, Permian High School, The University of Texas of the Permian Basin and Odessa College.  As a master class instructor, Alex has taught at numerous schools across Texas.

Performance credits include: BET 106 n Park Music Show in New York City, dancing for artist DeWun_Music and is also choreographing for artist Marie Ferow, Trai’D and many more.

Alex’s passion for dance shines through in every class and believes that with a great work ethic your possibilities are endless.
